Terms of Use

Effective date: July 28, 2026

These terms form an agreement between you and the person responsible for Pryvo. Read them before using the app. Qualified counsel should review this document before a paid launch; the sections below are complete and internally consistent with the Privacy Policy and the shipped product, but that review has not yet happened.

Who You Are Contracting With

Pryvo is published under the trading name Veldrose by Alejandro Mendoza, an individual developer operating as a sole proprietor. There is no separate company; Alejandro Mendoza is personally the counterparty to these terms.

Where Pryvo Is Offered

Pryvo is offered in the United States, Latin America, and other regions where it is listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Pryvo is not offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and its store listings exclude those regions.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pryvo. Pryvo asks for your birth year when you first open the app and does not permit use below that minimum; if the answer is below it, Pryvo deletes the account and the data associated with it. Do not use Pryvo if you are under 13, and do not answer that question untruthfully on behalf of a child.

Service

Pryvo helps users define visible tasks, submit camera-captured photo proof, and receive time-limited access to selected apps after a review decision. Pryvo is a voluntary self-management tool. It is not a security product, a parental-control service, a medical or therapeutic service, an emergency service, or a guarantee that apps or devices cannot be accessed.

Users must not rely on Pryvo to prevent harm, meet legal obligations, supervise another person, or control a device they do not own or have authority to manage.

Accounts and acceptable use

Users are responsible for their device, anonymous-session recovery limitations, and all activity performed through their session. Users may not circumvent service limits, interfere with review or billing systems, submit unlawful, harmful, infringing, or deceptive material, upload another person's personal data without authority, or attempt to access another user's account or proof.

Pryvo can be used without creating an account. An anonymous account exists only on the device: if the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared, that account cannot be recovered, and Pryvo deletes unreachable anonymous accounts on the schedule published in the Privacy Policy.

Proof and automated review

Proof must be camera-captured by the user and relevant to the task. Pryvo uses automated hosted review and may reject evidence that is incomplete, unclear, unrelated, or cannot be verified. A decision is not a statement of fact about a person and does not guarantee accuracy. The in-app same-photo reconsideration path is the available product review process; it does not replace statutory consumer or privacy rights.

App control and availability

App-control behavior depends on operating-system permissions, device state, manufacturers, and platform limits. A user can revoke permissions or otherwise bypass local controls. Pryvo does not promise uninterrupted blocking, universal compatibility, or tamper-resistant enforcement. Earned access and subscription features may be unavailable during outages, maintenance, or provider failures.

Purchases and automatic renewal

Where Premium is offered, the price, billing interval, trial eligibility, the date a free trial converts to a paid charge, and cancellation instructions are shown in the app before the purchase is taken, and again in the applicable app store's own purchase sheet.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same interval until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, through the subscription settings of the store that sold you the subscription. Deleting your Pryvo account does not cancel a store subscription: Apple and Google own that billing relationship, and only you can end it from the store.

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and their terms govern the transaction, including refunds. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights available to you.

Intellectual property and feedback

Pryvo and its software, branding, and content are owned by Veldrose or its licensors. Users retain rights in their submitted content but grant Pryvo the limited right to process it solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy. Feedback you send may be used without obligation or compensation.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pryvo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Pryvo does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that automated review will be accurate in every case, or that app blocking cannot be bypassed.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted, and you may have additional rights.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alejandro Mendoza will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of Pryvo, even if advised of the possibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Pryvo and these terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Pryvo in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or twenty United States dollars.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alejandro Mendoza from third-party claims arising out of your unlawful use of Pryvo, your submission of content you had no right to submit, or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from Pryvo's own acts or omissions.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Pryvo at any time and delete your account and hosted data from the Account screen. Pryvo may suspend or terminate access for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons, and will make reasonable effort to explain why unless doing so would be unlawful or would compromise an investigation. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — survive it.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Pryvo are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Panama City, Republic of Panama, have jurisdiction, and you and Alejandro Mendoza submit to that jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in another country, this choice of law and forum does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives you that right.

Before filing a claim, contact support@pryvoapp.net and allow 30 days to resolve the matter informally. Most disputes can be settled that way.

Changes to these terms

Pryvo may update the service or these terms when reasonably necessary. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, disclosed in the app. Continued use after a material change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, stop using Pryvo and delete your account.
